Last weekend I was surprised with a trip to Asheville for my two year anniversary with my man! It was awesome to be able to get away together and let go not to mention he planned the entire thing! So Friday morning as the sky woke so did we, heading out all bundled up for our first vacation in two years. Most of our trips thus far has been with friends or family, so setting off on an alone adventure was very exciting for me. The sun was out and the music was on, at this point I was unaware of our destination but still excited as ever. I had was aloud to have two details of the entire trip, that is was going to be cold and that at 2:00 I was going to get to do something I have always wanted to do.
Pearson falls and Wildlife Friends
It was such a nice place, clean, friendly, not over crowded by any means and the animals actually looked happy. Such a big plus for me. One of the highlights was when I made friends with a pair of otters and we had a 15min play session together. They were absolutely adorable and I don't think my smile could have gotten any bigger.
After the wildlife center we headed back to Downtown Asheville to enjoy our last night there. Walking around the lit streets, snow flurries falling and tea in hand. I had such an amazing time and I am so grateful to have received this trip, full of inspiration and motivation. Mo look forward to our next adventure together.
