"Let it go, Let go, Let it go!"
If you are any thing like me, this time of year makes you happier than a Who during the Whobilation. The songs, movies, outfits, you name it. Maybe it's the romantic in me, as far back as I can remember I have always loved Christmas. As I get older I am just adding on more and more reasons ot love it. Some of my favorite things about Christmas are; smells, decorations, fireplaces, movies, songs, wishing there was a North Pole and most importantly spending time with friends and loved ones. These are most of the reasons that keep me sane during this time of year. We often are rushed, pressured about gifts and feel overwhelmed by events. Never underestimate the power of making lists. I love using Post-its. They make it super easy to write my to do list and put them right in my face. Tee hee. Plus you can color code and everything.
So remember to let things go and enjoy the moment. I wish you all Happy Holidays and many warm smiles and fuzzy socks.
"He's making a list, checking it twice..."
Impromptu Holiday get together
Sometimes all you need for a get together is good friends, warm harth and plenty of laughs. This weekend one of my good friends arrived for a short stay in Atlanta so we decided to have a gathering for her. With a quick feild trip to our local Kroger, we made an impromtu Christmas party and celebrated with The Grinch, goodies and lots of smiles. Sometimes those are all that yuo need.
