Happy Monday everyone! It is an absolutely gorgeous day here in Atlanta, sitting out on the porch with all my happy things around me, including my awesome oracle deck. Many of you have seen my pictures of my cards, they pop up when I do yoga, meditation, spiritual work and when giving readings to others. I absolutely love my oracle cards. Oracle cards are a wonderful tool to use for guidance, inspiration and direction. Simpler than tarot, they are more helping than descriptive, which is one of the many reasons why I love using them. I often will do a daily spread two to three times a week to keep me on track or to get a clearer message from my intuition. You can use them to answer a question, check your place on your journey and you can use them to help in manifestation work.
Intuition, something that many of us take for granted. For many have chosen to ignore that inner voice and listen to their ego or the ego of others. Your intuition is one of the greatest gifts we as humans could possibly posses. It is a connection to our higher power, the universe and even to our own souls. It is that voice that helps us when we are down telling us to get back up, it is the voice that lets us know when something feels right and when it feels wrong, it is the part of us that communicates with our spiritual side. Have you ever been driving and have a moment when "something" tells you to stop at the yellow light and then someone runs it right after you stopped and gets in an accident? That's your intuition guiding you. Have you ever been nervous to go out to a gathering, trying to think of excuses as to why you "can't" go? But something, deep down inside of you says "just do it, just go, it will be good for you," and you end up not only having a great time but meet a new friend, run into an old one or even meet your significant other. These are all just a few examples of how your intuition interjects into our lives. But more on that later.
So how do you use your intuition with the oracle cards? Every deck comes with a description book and while I do recommend reading it, I also recommend that you just use it for reference and use your inner guide to tell you what the cards are saying. The more you practice the easier it gets, take notes and write down your reading after you give or do one. This way you will start to trust yourself and get more and more messages. This leads into a lot of the work that I do, intuition and magic is a big part of my life. Being an empath I am able to feel and read people through energy, and I have used oracle cards many times to help me decided if my intuition is on point or if my ego is taking place. Try them out, or better yet get a reading and see how much fun it can be.
