Happy day three of Mercury Retrograde everyone! Technology is going crazy, communication is ridiculous and things from the past popping up like daisies. Feeling exhausted but trouble sleeping, people coming out the woodwork that you haven't talked to in ages, unresolved issues come forward so that you can work on them. And let's not forget my personal favorite, introspection! Let's go deep down in our souls and heal some serious shit.
But retrogrades don't always have to focus on the bad that happens, do they? No, no they don't. Use this time to rest, plan, focus on you and your well being. Things might get hectic the next few weeks but you can certainly learn about yourself. And you can focus on yourself making you the number 1 priority in your life.
This is a great time to work on a vision board or bucket list. Start a Pinterest board of vacation ideas, decor inspiration, or inspirational quotes. Read a motivational book by someone you admire. Think about something you want to experience and set goals to achieve it. Make a time line to track your progress. These are all things that you can work on during retrograde that will help you take charge. You've got this!
Things to remember during Mercury Retrograde:
Saturday I was scrolling through my FB feed and came across the video above. I was struck with such a bolt of lighting I think I replayed it several times. I have been simultaneously listened to the song and watched the video since then. The video itself is wonderful, full of hope, color, light and love. A woman at the height of her grief, sent on a mission to find her self again, just beautiful.
This video inspired me to set out my intentions and goals to start living the life I choose. To start doing the things that I want to and take the risks I need. It's scary stepping out our front doors and yes we have to wander outside our comfort zone. I want to start checking off my "bucket list", don't you?
We become complacent within our lives of normality. I have been just as guilty. It is very easy to get stuck in ruts and keep spinning the same old wheels. But once in a while we have to look up and take a look at ourselves and where we are. Time is flying by us. We have no control over the consequences that occur if we don't seize our dreams.
Start small, make dream lists, wander lists, bucket lists. Set goals and make the reward of the experience something truly treasurable only to you. Find out what inspires you, what lights your flames. What are some of the things you have always wanted to see, do, experience? Now's your chance to explore yourself and dare to adventure.
