Our trip began Friday afternoon with a commic display of me trying to unpack and pack the coach while my boyfriend headed down the road. Little did I know that I would be getting a complete work out. With each twist and turn I had to lock in my core and twist and turn with the movement. I laughed the entire 30min it took me to complete my task.
After my hilarious unpacking routine I settled into my seat and got ready for the road ahead. Our first destination was Mobile, AL. Visiting with the awesome couple I married last month. I was so excited to see their new house and spend time catching up that I checked our arrival time every few minutes. This went on until we pulled into their driveway.
After breakfast we we decided to drive the coach out to the beach. Our friends brought us out to Dauphin Island. We happened to arrive as the islands local Fish Rodeo (I know right?!) was just beginning. The town was so cute with its fishing shacks and tiny town homes built on stilts.
Since most of the people were at the rodeo we got lucky with parking and a spot on the beach. I got to try my inflatable air coach thing. I was in full relaxation mode. Lying on my couch, hanging with good people, the sound of the waves, sheer perfection.
Even though our time in Bama was short it was still a memorable experience. We had such a great time hanging and catching up with our friends.
Sunday morning we packed everything up and said our goodbyes and headed out on the open road. Ready to start our adventure towards Colorado.
